Nighttime in the Country

Dan knows how much I hate going outside in the dark to check the sheep. Even with the headlights we wear it is still darker than I would like. Imagine my surprise tonight when I went out for last rounds and bottles and found the backyard lit up like a fairyland! The crickets were chirping and the once spooky place was beautiful! Added bonus - no new lambs. Our first three day total - 33 lambs out of 12 ewes. Many more to come..... One more day to work then I am off for three glorious weeks of playing with the lambs! I can't wait!
